On Tuesday, while addressing to the reporters, General Peter Pace, Chairman of the Joint Chief of Army Staff, cleared that although he is not satisfied with the current conditions of Iraq, he is confident that conditions will improve in the near future.

Mr. Pace said that Iraqis don’t want to shed more blood, now they are fed up with such activities, now they want peace and prosperity.

Although the war is on its way, people of Iraq are cooperating and seems that now the time had come when the public of Iraq finally have there own government and self respect. Iraq had now re-established its own army and police, due to which people are gaining confidence on government bodies. Such steps will not only improve the situation but it will automatically reduce the number of U.S.Troops. This is what Iraqis really want.

But still some experts are of the view that the U.S. troops should remain in Iraq for one more year. In this case there may be rise in domestic war, which will be harmful for Iraqis as well as U.S. troops. Therefore, U.S. should remove there troops as soon as possible. On the other hand, P.M. Nouri-Al-Maliki is also prepared to lead the country. On the whole, if we see the issue, it seems that until President Bush remains in the White House, peace can’t prevail on Iraq’s land.
