Madeleine McCann, a four-year-old girl is still out of sight for her parents but a rumor regarding her whereabouts bought another couple behind bars. Not only the couple, Danilo Chemello and his girlfriend Aurora Vaz, was indicted of conspiring to extract £2.5million from the parents of the little girl but they were also accused of several other crime related issues.
Talking about their history, well it’s not too colorful, the guy, Chemello, 61, is an Italian, who has mushroomed a multi-million-pound fortune, deserted his wife of 22 years and their two children soon after meeting Vaz at a party in 1992.

Have a look at their scandalous past:
Both have experienced a sentence of five years by a court in Rome, 2001, for ‘knee-capping’ Vaz’s ex-husband. Although, the charges were shed against them but later found guilty of placing drugs in Mr Tana’s car and for disseminating fake information about him being a paedophile. Then they left for St Tropez in France, where a three-year sentence would be waiting for them, why, well read on....
They have crossed their limits of cruelty even with their five-year-old daughter, they fasten her legs and hands with tape and were feeding her with dog food, yes, you read it right!
For this, they underwent jail for 18 months in 2004. The ‘creative’ mind of Chemello didn’t halt even in prison; when a cell mate informed him about the ‘illegal business dealings’ of the judge, who sentenced him jail, the thought of taking revenge ignited his grey cells. As a consequence of which, upon stepping out of jail, he hired a detective to expose the judge. Later, he blackmailed him but as always, got caught again, since, his roommate, spilled the beans regarding his plot. Although, he shirk it and made a way to Sotogrande in southern Spain, and his case underwent trail in France. He was on a run when the idea of extorting money from the girl’s parents hit his ‘creative’ mind. However, he was stuck his own created web when the solicitor- to whom he offered information regarding Madeleine- told the police, who further raided the couple’s home on Thursday.
They found nothing except newspaper cuttings of the little girl, Madeleine.
