The soldiers working in Iraq and Afghanistan who write blogs on the situation of war fields are watched by their own officials and companions. All the blogs are monitored. The Army Web Risk Assessment Cell is deployed to scan all blogs - personal or official.
In some incidents, bloggers even described the drawbacks of army and some of them posted photos of army weapon system which was damaged by enemy attack. Such blogs of war sites will not only weaken the position of army, but it will also help enemies to understand the position of army.
The Army will not disclose the methods or tools being used to find and monitor the sites. But soldiers wishing to blog from the sensitive war fields are required to register their sites with their commanding officers, who monitor the sites quarterly. Even though military is still trying to change the technology of monitoring the sites. Web risk assessment team is monitoring thousands of blogs every month and, sometimes calling soldiers and asking them to take unwanted material down. Even then if the blogger disagrees with the request, the team is having right to discuss the problem with commander and conform that the blogger doesn’t post anonymously.
The Army Web Risk Assessment Cell is there, not to interfere with the personal interest of the soldiers. It is only working as a filter to stop the unwanted information which may harm the army in future. Such system is there not to discourage the soldiers from blogging, but it is there to safeguard the interests of army as a whole.
Military bloggers are expressing themselves as a wide open forum and want to share their life-changing experiences with the rest of the world. These bloggers should try to understand that there are some things which have to be kept secret, especially in case of army issues. If these bloggers disagrees about these things is will surly harm the interest of the army.

Ya there is necessary to keep the check... So, that the secrets of the army are not leaked to others...
I agree to this rule unless it does not turn out to a horrible face.
