Bush tips Hillary Clinton to be the main Democrat Presidential candidate

There’s hardly anyone remaining now who would value US President George W Bush’s opinions too highly. Failure to combat Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan, incapacity to come up with an intelligent solution to the sectarian violence in Iraq plus a myriad of other controversial matters have vastly decimated his worth to the American as well the international public. But there’s one person in the United States who would be happy with Mr. Bush’s opinions about the presidential elections. In an interview for the book The Evangelical President by The Examiner reporter Bill Sammon, President Bush said that he believes Hillary Clinton, wife of the former US President Bill Clinton, would emerge as the most likely candidate for White House supremacy among the Democrats in the forthcoming presidential elections. Mr. Bush observed that with the highly successful election campaign that Mrs. Clinton and her supporters are raging across the country and her innate charm and oratory skills, the Democrat candidate would leave the other candidates in her party chasing shadows. This verdict from the person whom many see as a lame duck has made the Mrs. Clinton chauvinists quietly confident. The opinion polls do suggest that Mrs. Clinton is the outstanding candidate among the Democrats and is also the most popular with her charm and convincing character. So Mr. Bush’s views and virtual prediction aren’t that novel since most of the people do feel that Mrs. Clinton would be the main obstacle in the Republicans’ path to maintain control of the presidency for one more term. Yet the Clinton cabin has welcomed this opinion from Mr. Bush. But the US President is confident that a Republican candidate will be the next President of the United States although he has refused to name his favourite. Mr. Bush is adamant that people still have faith in the Republicans’ policy even with the meltdown of his popularity after the invasion of Iraq. He adds that Republicans and their policy are the most suitable party to lead America at his point of time but coming from someone whose ideologies and strategies have been proven flawed and unpopular, it would be difficult for anyone to believe that. That Hillary Clinton would be the main challenger for the Democrats to the Republicans in the presidential race is quite obvious but whether the Republicans can convince the nation that he still can put forward a legible candidate to stern the ship is a question that only time can answer.
