9/11/ 2007 will mark the sixth anniversary of the WTC attacks and as the U.S. prepares to remember its victims, the new Bin Laden video would leave no stone unturned to keep it on its tenterhooks. Has anything changed since 9/11?
As Tuesday marks the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the WTC in New York, America prepares itself for remembering its dead and sympathizing with the maimed and diseased. But, what are the changes in place today since that frightening day of September 2001, when four American aircrafts crashed into the towers, killing several thousands and maiming many others? The only changes visible are the war on terror and terrorists’ war against humanity and the Reflecting Absence in place of the WTC towers.

World has certainly become a more dangerous place than 9/11, especially when the brain behind the most gruesome incident on earth is still at large, especially when we see hordes of terror incidents taking place across the globe. Even the war on terror seems to have brought no solace for the victims of terrorism, as it has given births to victims of war. A rise in power of terror forces, getting trained in Pakistan, is certainly a reminder that world cannot be a safe place to live in for those who believe in peace, unless the word terrorist is scrapped from the earth once and for all. But, how is that going to happen? Terrorism cannot be nipped unless the backup support and terror base and aides not scrapped.
A true homage to the victims of 9/11 or of any terror attacks in the world would be a full stop of terrorism. Else, God knows how many more 9/11’s will the world be witness to.
